This product does work well to hold things together, very sticky, thick enough to be durable, and would order again.

I replaced the water manifold in my bathroom shower/tub. The faceplates behind the handles would not stay up against the wall, allowing water in behind. I used the double sided tape to cover the holes through the walls and on the back of the faceplates. So now they stick up against the wall and do not allow water to get behind.

It will be useful.
